Core Responsibilities
- Inspect shop-floor areas using safety checklists and handheld gas detectors.
- Review work permit documents and physically verify active permit locations.
- Check solvent storage drums and bulk chemical tanks against safety labeling norms.
- Conduct machine safety inspections using lifting tool tags and inspection formats.
- Record hazard observations in site safety registers after area walkthroughs.
- Carry out safety induction sessions using induction records and attendance sheets.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Work permit formats and safety inspection checklists.
- Gas detectors and solvent monitoring instruments.
- Machine guarding inspection tools.
- Risk assessment sheets and hazard identification formats.
- Personal protective equipment standards.
- Safety induction documentation.
Experience Context
- Work is based within chemical manufacturing plants and utility zones.
