Core Responsibilities
- Prepare HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire system drawings using AutoCAD files and coordinated layout sheets.
- Develop quantity take-offs from BOQ documents and architectural drawings for hotel service systems.
- Verify equipment submittals against hotel brand technical manuals and approved material schedules.
- Record site measurements using inspection tools and update redline drawings for services routing.
- Compile testing and commissioning reports for HVAC airflow, electrical load, and water pressure systems.
- Assemble handover dossiers containing O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- AutoCAD software for coordinated MEP drawings.
- HVAC equipment schedules, duct sizing charts, and load calculation sheets.
- Electrical single-line diagrams and panel schedules.
- Plumbing and fire-fighting system schematics.
- BOQ documents, rate analysis sheets, and tender drawings.
- Testing and commissioning checklists.
Experience Context
- Works on active hotel construction sites with guest room blocks, kitchens, and public areas.
- Handles service installations across hundreds of rooms and centralized plant equipment.
- Without this role, building services remain untested, undocumented, and non-compliant with brand standards.
