Company Introduction
HPM Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd manufactures agrochemical and chemical products through integrated formulation and testing facilities in India.
Core Responsibilities
- Collect formulation samples from production vessels using approved sampling tools and labeled containers.
- Conduct in process checks on batches using calibrated balances, mixers, and temperature gauges.
- Perform finished product testing with chromatographs, spectrophotometers, and wet chemistry glassware.
- Review batch release records, analytical worksheets, and specification documents before product dispatch.
- Maintain laboratory instruments through scheduled calibration using reference standards and logbooks.
- Inspect raw material consignments against certificates of analysis and physical inspection reports.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- HPLC, gas chromatography, ultraviolet spectrophotometry, and infrared instruments.
- Wet chemistry testing methods for formulation analysis.
- Laboratory information records and controlled documentation formats.
- Calibration standards and reference materials.
- Stability chambers and environmental monitoring devices.
- Regulatory audit documents and compliance checklists.
Experience Context
- Work takes place in formulation quality control laboratories attached to chemical manufacturing plants.
- Facilities handle multiple product batches, diverse formulations, and high sample volumes daily.
- Without this role, nonconforming materials pass undetected and market compliance risks increase.
