Core Responsibilities
- Develop load flow models using ETAP software to represent substations, feeders, transformers, and protection devices.
- Perform short circuit calculations by configuring network parameters within DIgSILENT PowerFactory environments.
- Simulate transient stability cases on PSCAD platforms using generator and inverter data files.
- Prepare single line diagrams and study reports as controlled engineering documents for client submission.
- Validate relay coordination settings through comparison of time current curves generated by study tools.
- Review grid interconnection data sheets received from utilities and project teams for technical completeness.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- ETAP power system analysis modules for load flow and fault studies.
- DIgSILENT PowerFactory network modeling libraries.
- PSCAD electromagnetic transient simulation suites.
- Protection coordination reports and grid compliance documentation.
- Single line diagrams, equipment datasheets, and study calculation files.
