- Inspect tower foundation drawings on site using approved project layout documents.
- Verify material delivery challans against site stock registers and storage yards.
- Measure erected tower members using calibrated measuring tapes and alignment tools.
- Record daily site progress in physical site logbooks and photographic records.
- Review permit drawings issued by utilities and compare them with actual site conditions.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Transmission tower erection drawings and foundation layout sheets.
- Site measurement tools including plumb bobs and steel tapes.
- Daily progress reports and site register documentation.
- Utility approved design issue sheets.
- Material inspection checklists.
Experience Context
- Work occurs on outdoor transmission tower construction locations.
- Sites may involve multiple tower locations spread across kilometers.
- Without this role, tower alignment errors and material mismatches remain undetected.
