Core Responsibilities
- Prepare power system study reports using validated network data files.
- Run load flow simulations through licensed electrical analysis software.
- Calculate short circuit levels using standardized study templates.
- Develop insulation coordination reports based on transient overvoltage studies.
- Record study assumptions in controlled technical calculation documents.
- Submit finalized study files to internal review repositories.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Dig SILENT Power Factory software.
- ETAP power system analysis software.
- PSS E simulation tools.
- Power system study calculation reports.
- Electrical network single line diagrams.
Experience Context
- Work is performed within a corporate engineering and power studies office.
- Handling multiple transmission and distribution study models simultaneously.
- Without this role, grid compliance studies and insulation validation fail.
