- Develop offshore structural analysis models for jackets, decks, and modules.
- Prepare design calculations covering wave, wind, and current loading.
- Check structural member sizing against offshore design codes.
- Review fabrication drawings and material take-off lists.
- Generate structural design reports for offshore facilities.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- SACS and SESAM offshore analysis software.
- Offshore design codes such as API RP 2A.
- Finite element modeling tools.
- Structural steel material specifications.
- Load case and combination documentation.
Experience Context
- Work is performed for offshore platforms and marine structures.
- Projects involve large tonnage steel structures exposed to harsh environments.
- Without this role, offshore structural integrity assessments remain unverified.
