Core Responsibilities
- Inspect plant electrical panels using multimeters and insulation testers.
- Replace damaged cables, contactors, and breakers inside machine control panels.
- Lay and terminate power wiring for extrusion and stranding equipment.
- Test earthing points and grounding continuity across production areas.
- Update electrical maintenance checklists after corrective work.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Digital multimeters and insulation resistance testers.
- Low-voltage switchgear and control panels.
- Power wiring diagrams and single-line drawings.
- Motor starters and protective relays.
- Electrical maintenance registers.
Experience Context
- Work takes place inside an operating cable manufacturing plant.
- Equipment includes high-load motors, heaters, and panel-driven machinery.
- Without this role, machines face power failures and unsafe electrical conditions.
