Core Responsibilities
- Charge raw materials into fermenters using weighing balances and material issue slips.
- Monitor fermentation parameters by recording pH, temperature, and agitation readings.
- Transfer broth between vessels through validated pipelines and valve charts.
- Clean fermenters using CIP systems and approved cleaning checklists.
- Document batch progress within batch manufacturing records.
- Label in-process containers with batch tags and status cards.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Fermenters, seed tanks, and downstream transfer systems.
- Batch manufacturing records and production logbooks.
- pH meters, temperature probes, and agitation controllers.
- CIP systems, cleaning checklists, and sanitation logs.
- Material dispensing and batch status labeling formats.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out on the fermentation shop floor with multiple batch campaigns.
- Each batch spans several days with continuous monitoring requirements.
- Without production handling, fermentation cycles fail and yield drops.
