Core Responsibilities
- Set up laboratory scale formulation batches using calibrated balances, mixers, and controlled heating equipment.
- Operate and monitor laboratory instruments used for formulation trials and material blending studies.
- Prepare experiment records, batch sheets, and formulation notebooks documenting laboratory scale work.
- Transfer formulation trial data into approved technical reports for production scale reference.
- Support scale up studies by preparing pilot batches using defined raw material quantities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment usage records and sample storage logs.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Laboratory scale formulation equipment for agrochemical and pharmaceutical products.
- Weighing balances, mixers, and heating mantles used in formulation studies.
- Formulation development protocols and technical report formats.
- Laboratory notebooks and controlled documentation systems.
- Raw material specification sheets and formulation reference documents.
Experience Context
- Work is performed in a formulation development laboratory connected to a manufacturing plant.
- Daily tasks involve preparation of multiple laboratory batches supporting scale up studies.
