- Inspect trench excavation and pole foundation work using approved construction drawings and site layout plans.
- Verify installation of electrical poles, conductors, and insulators with measuring tape, spirit level, and alignment markers.
- Monitor material receipt and storage through delivery challans, stock registers, and site inventory sheets.
- Record daily site progress using site logbooks, measurement books, and photographic site records.
- Check contractor work quality against approved technical specifications and issued work orders.
- Review safety arrangements at site including barricades, earthing rods, and protective equipment placement.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Electrical layout drawings and approved construction drawings.
- Measurement books, site logbooks, and work completion certificates.
- Survey tools such as measuring tape, spirit level, and alignment rope.
- Electrical distribution materials including poles, conductors, and insulators.
- Basic project tracking sheets and site reporting formats.
