Core Responsibilities
- Charge raw materials into reactors using calibrated weighing scales and material issue slips.
- Monitor reactor temperature and pressure readings through installed control panels.
- Record batch stage observations in controlled batch manufacturing records.
- Transfer reaction mass between vessels using approved pipelines and transfer pumps.
- Clean reactors and associated accessories using validated cleaning checklists.
- Label in process containers with batch identification tags and status labels.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Glass lined reactors.
- Centrifuges.
- Dryers.
- Batch manufacturing records.
- Standard operating procedure documents.
Experience Context
- Work performed inside an active pharmaceutical ingredient production plant.
- Exposure to multi stage chemical batches handled across several reactors.
- Multiple equipment units run in parallel during daily manufacturing cycles.
- Without this role, batch completion and material transfer cannot proceed.
