Company Introduction
The company operates API manufacturing units within the pharmaceutical industry, running large-scale chemical synthesis and finishing lines inside regulated production plants.
Core Responsibilities
- Charge reactors with solvents, raw materials, and catalysts using calibrated weighing balances and batch manufacturing records.
- Monitor reaction parameters on control panels while recording temperature, pressure, and timing in shift production logs.
- Operate centrifuges, dryers, and filtration units to separate intermediates with entries made in equipment usage registers.
- Transfer wet and dry materials through designated pipelines and material handling tools following approved plant layouts.
- Clean reactors, vessels, and transfer lines using validated cleaning checklists and sanitation records.
- Fill, label, and store finished API containers with batch numbers referenced against packing and storage registers.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- API reactor operation and batch charging techniques.
- Centrifugation and vacuum drying equipment handling.
- Use of control panels and field instrumentation.
- Batch manufacturing record documentation systems.
- Material handling tools and transfer pipelines.
- Cleaning validation documents and logs.
Key Skills
- Batch manufacturing records
- Reactor charging systems
- Centrifuge operation
- Vacuum drying units
- Production logbooks
- Equipment cleaning records
Experience Context
- Work is carried out in active API production plants containing multiple reactors and downstream processing equipment.
- Daily output involves handling several metric-ton scale batches across synthesis and finishing stages.
- Absence of this role can result in halted batches, material loss, and regulatory non-compliance within the facility.
