Core Responsibilities
- Develop baseline schedules using planning software based on approved construction drawings.
- Update weekly and monthly schedules with site progress data and physical measurement logs.
- Prepare look-ahead plans using bar charts and network diagrams.
- Track resource deployment through manpower charts and equipment allocation sheets.
- Generate progress reports comparing planned versus achieved quantities.
- Archive schedule revisions, approvals, and progress photographs in planning records.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- MS Project timelines and Gantt charts.
- Construction drawings and approved work programs.
- Progress monitoring formats and planning reports.
- Manpower and equipment deployment charts.
Experience Context
- Work is performed at large infrastructure project sites with multi-activity schedules.
- Planning covers thousands of meters of pipeline, structures, or roadway stretches.
- Without this role, project sequencing and progress visibility would collapse.
