Core Responsibilities
- Collect raw material samples from storage areas using sampling tools and record details in sample receipt registers.
- Perform wet chemistry testing on samples using calibrated glassware and laboratory notebooks.
- Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC systems and UV spectrophotometers to generate test reports.
- Document test observations in controlled formats including analysis worksheets and result logs.
- Verify finished material specifications by comparing laboratory results with approved quality standards.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- High performance liquid chromatography systems.
- Ultraviolet visible spectrophotometers.
- Wet chemistry testing methods.
- Laboratory notebooks and controlled analysis formats.
- Calibration and validation documents.
Experience Context
- Work takes place inside a quality control laboratory handling routine and in process samples.
- Daily volume includes multiple raw material and finished product samples per shift.
