Core Responsibilities
- Measure slab dimensions on active construction areas using measuring tape and record readings in site measurement books.
- Verify reinforcement placement against structural drawings before concreting using approved bar bending schedules.
- Inspect shuttering alignment with spirit level and plumb bob prior to pour approvals.
- Track daily material receipt such as cement and steel through inward registers at the project site.
- Observe concreting work and note slump test values in quality check formats.
- Assist in maintaining site photographs and progress records in project documentation files.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- AutoCAD drawings and printed construction blueprints.
- Concrete slump cone test method.
- Measuring tape, spirit level, and plumb bob.
- Bar bending schedule documents.
- Site measurement books and material registers.
Experience Context
- Work exposure occurs at live building sites involving multi-storey structural components.
- Tasks relate to concrete pours, reinforcement layouts, and daily construction records.
- Without this role, physical site measurements and documentation remain incomplete.
